I grew up in Campbell, CA, during the tech boom and famously learned how to troubleshoot computers by the age of three (ask my mom about it!). When I was eight, my cousin burned me a copy of the Into the Woods Original Broadway Cast Recording on CD, and… here we are (IYKYK).
I graduated from Archbishop Mitty High School and attended the University of Utah, where I earned by BFA in Acting and a minor in gender studies. During my time there I was #blessed to perform in multiple main stage productions and smaller projects. I took a particular interest in Shakespeare, studying in London twice: first with the University of Utah and later at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Arts. I was also able to flex my directing and accent coaching muscles in student-led projects and under the supervision of director Sarah Shippobotham on Our Country’s Good. During my senior year, I performed at Pioneer Theatre Company and, as my senior thesis project, presented Fleabag by Phoebe Waller-Bridge.
I live in Queens, NY, with my partner and our two cats, Susan (good) and Oliver (evil). In New York, I have studied at HB Studio, the Barrow Group, the Linklater Center, the Upright Citizen’s Brigade, and with Jaclyn Biskup; I have performed at Dixon Place Theater, the New Ohio, and at Ma-Yi, among others.
